तमिलनाडु के आदि द्रविड़ और जनजातीय कल्याण विभाग द्वारा 7 मई, 2012 को शुरू की गई "प्रतिष्ठित स्कूलों में प्लस वन में आदि द्रविड़/जनजातीय छात्रों का प्रवेश" योजना का उद्देश्य आदि द्रविड़ और जनजातीय छात्रों के लिए शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता को बढ़ाना है। यह प्रत्येक जिले से शीर्ष 10 छात्रों का चयन करता है जो सरकारी, नगरपालिका या कल्याणकारी स्कूलों से दसवीं कक्षा में उच्चतम अंक प्राप्त करते हैं और उन्हें प्रतिष्ठित निजी स्कूलों में प्लस वन में प्रवेश देता है। इस योजना में ट्यूशन और बोर्डिंग शुल्क का कवरेज शामिल है। चयनित छात्रों के लिए 28,000 प्रति वर्ष। बीआर एंड जीटी;

  • लाभार्थी एक छात्र होना चाहिए।-लाभार्थी वर्तमान में स्कूल में नामांकित होना चाहिए।-लाभार्थी तमिलनाडु का निवासी होना चाहिए।-लाभार्थी आदि द्रविड़/आदिवासी समुदाय से होना चाहिए।-लाभार्थी ने सरकारी/निगम/नगरपालिका/आदि द्रविड़ और आदिवासी कल्याण स्कूलों से दसवीं कक्षा में उच्चतम अंक प्राप्त किए होने चाहिए।-लाभार्थी की वार्षिक पारिवारिक आय ₹ 1,00,000-से कम होनी चाहिए
