कर्मचारी राज्य बीमा निगम (ई. एस. आई. सी.) द्वारा बेरोजगार हो चुके बीमित व्यक्तियों (आई. पी.) को राहत प्रदान करने के लिए पायलट आधार पर 2 साल की अवधि के लिए "अटल बीमित व्यक्ति कल्याण योजना (ए. बी. वी. के. वाई.)" योजना शुरू की गई थी। इस योजना के तहत बेरोजगारी के अधिकतम 90 दिनों तक प्रति दिन औसत आय के 50 प्रतिशत की सीमा तक नकद मुआवजे के रूप में राहत का भुगतान किया गया था, बशर्ते कि कर्मचारी को बीमा योग्य रोजगार के दो साल पूरे करने चाहिए थे और राहत के दावे से ठीक पहले लगातार तीन योगदान अवधि में से प्रत्येक में कम से कम 78 दिनों का योगदान दिया हो।

  • बीमित व्यक्ति (आई. पी.) को राहत का दावा करने की अवधि के दौरान बेरोजगार कर दिया जाना चाहिए था। 1. बीमित व्यक्ति को न्यूनतम दो वर्ष की अवधि के लिए बीमाकृत रोजगार में होना चाहिए। 1. बीमित व्यक्ति को पिछली तीन योगदान अवधि में से प्रत्येक के दौरान कम से कम 78 दिनों का योगदान देना चाहिए था। 1. उसके संबंध में योगदान नियोक्ता द्वारा भुगतान या देय किया जाना चाहिए था। 1. बेरोजगारी आकस्मिकता कदाचार, सेवानिवृत्ति या स्वैच्छिक सेवानिवृत्ति के लिए किसी भी सजा के परिणामस्वरूप नहीं होनी चाहिए थी। 1. बीमित व्यक्ति के आधार और बैंक खाते को बीमित व्यक्ति के डेटाबेस से जोड़ा जाना चाहिए। * * नोट: ई. एस. आई. अधिनियम के अंतर्गत आने वाले सभी बीमित व्यक्ति इस योजना के तहत हकदार हैं और योजना के प्रशासन के लिए किसी अलग पंजीकरण की आवश्यकता नहीं है। * * 1. यदि आई. पी. एक से अधिक नियोक्ताओं के लिए काम कर रहा है और ई. एस. आई. योजना के अंतर्गत आता है तो उसे केवल तभी बेरोजगार माना जाएगा जब वह सभी नियोक्ताओं के साथ बेरोजगार हो जाता है। 1. जैसा कि ई. एस. आई. अधिनियम की धारा 65 में निर्दिष्ट किया गया है, एक आई. पी. उसी अवधि के लिए एक साथ ए. बी. वी. के. वाई. के तहत किसी अन्य नकद मुआवजे और राहत का हकदार नहीं होगा। हालांकि, ई. एस. आई. अधिनियम और विनियमों के तहत स्थायी विकलांगता लाभ (पी. डी. बी.) का आवधिक भुगतान जारी रहेगा। 1. जैसा कि ई. एस. आई. अधिनियम की धारा 61 के तहत निर्दिष्ट किया गया है, एक आई. पी. जो ए. बी. वी. के. वाई. के तहत राहत की प्राप्ति कर रहा है, वह किसी अन्य अधिनियम के प्रावधानों के तहत स्वीकार्य कोई समान लाभ प्राप्त करने का हकदार नहीं होगा। * * 1. तालाबंदी के दौरान 1. सक्षम प्राधिकारी द्वारा अवैध घोषित कर्मचारियों द्वारा की गई हड़ताल 1. नौकरी/स्वैच्छिक सेवानिवृत्ति/समयपूर्व सेवानिवृत्ति का स्वैच्छिक परित्याग। दो वर्ष से कम की अंशदायी सेवा 1. सेवानिवृत्ति की आयु प्राप्त करने पर 1ईएस. आई.     To submit an online claim, the application can be made online at the website: https://esic.gov.in/

    On the home page of the official website: Services-->Employees -->IP Portal -->Select Insured Person -->Sign Up.

    For new users ‘Sign-Up’ is required to fill Insurance Number, Date of Birth, and Mobile Number after that get the User Name and password.

    Now, the applicant can login through his/her credentials and select the scheme to claim the benefits.

    Fill in all the mandatory details in the form including bank details etc.

    Download the AB-1 Form and fill in all the details wherever required. The scanned copy of the completely filled AB-1 Form and Aadhaar Card can be uploaded on the website.

    After uploading all the required documents, the application form can be submitted.

    Now, the applicant will take the printouts of the claim submitted above and the letter to the employer thus generated by the system and submit the duly signed claim in an affidavit along with the required forwarding by the employer to his designated ESIC Branch Office.

    On receipt of the claim the details as mentioned by the applicant IP will be checked in the system by the staff at the Branch Office under the supervision of the Branch Manager. The system will calculate the claimant's eligibility for relief under the scheme and the quantum to which the claimant is entitled based upon the details provided by the IP as well as the contribution and other details available in the system. The payment of the relief will be made to the IP's bank account. > Mode of payment: 1. The relief under ABVKY will be electronically transferred directly to the bank accounts of Insured Persons (IPs) by the Branch Office. 1. In the event of the death of IP, the amount of Relief under ABVKY shall be paid/ payable to his/her nominee/legal heir as prescribed under Para(s) P.3.79.1 to P.3.81 of the Branch Office Manual by the account payee cheque only. 1. The bank account details of the claimant in the ESIC Database are a pre-condition for claiming this relief, but in case the bank account details of the claimant are not available in the ESIC Database or the IP has changed his bank account then the same may be authenticated by the Branch Manager on the basis of the cancelled cheque leaf or the passbook of the bank account having the name of the claimant on it, which the claimant will provide along with the claim for this relief. <br>

The age of superannuation of any insured person is company specific as per company's policy in accordance with law. As per the explanation under Section 56 of the ESI Act the age of superannuation can be taken as age of sixty years.
