अम्मा दोपहिया योजना के तहत आरक्षण इस प्रकार हैः * *-योजना का 21 प्रतिशत & #39; यह आवंटन अनुसूचित जाति की महिलाओं के लिए आरक्षित है-योजना के आवंटन का 1 प्रतिशत अनुसूचित जनजाति की महिलाओं के लिए आरक्षित है-योजना के आवंटन का 4 प्रतिशत अलग-अलग रूप से सक्षम महिलाओं (सभी श्रेणियों में) के लिए आरक्षित है। इस योजना के तहत एक लाभार्थी को वाहन की लागत का अधिकतम 50 प्रतिशत या ₹25,000/- जो भी कम हो, एक बिल्कुल नया मोटर चालित गियरलेस/ऑटो-गियर वाला दोपहिया वाहन खरीदने के लिए सब्सिडी प्रदान की जाएगी, जिसकी इंजन क्षमता 125 सीसी से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिए। सब्सिडी राशि के अलावा शेष लागत का वहन लाभार्थी को बैंक/संस्थागत ऋण या अपने कोष के माध्यम से करना पड़ता है। लाभार्थी अपनी पसंद का वाहन अपने कोष से या भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (आर. बी. आई.) के नियमों द्वारा शासित बैंकों/गैर-बैंकिंग वित्त कंपनियों (एन. बी. एफ. सी.) से ऋण प्राप्त करके खरीद सकती है। यदि वाहन उसकी निधि से खरीदा जाता है तो लाभार्थी को सब्सिडी की प्रतिपूर्ति की अनुमति दी जाएगी, बशर्ते पात्रता के लिए निर्दिष्ट अन्य शर्तों को पूरा किया जाए
