  • > * * वित्तीय सहायता के लिए योग्य क्षेत्र। पशु और समुद्री जैव प्रौद्योगिकी या संबद्ध क्षेत्र। 2. जैव अभियांत्रिकी और जैव सामग्री या संबद्ध क्षेत्र। 3. चिकित्सा जैव प्रौद्योगिकी या संबद्ध क्षेत्र। 4. पर्यावरण जैव प्रौद्योगिकी और जैव ऊर्जा या संबद्ध क्षेत्र। 5. पादप और कृषि जैव प्रौद्योगिकी या संबद्ध क्षेत्र। रोजगार: क) नियमित या स्थायी रोजगार में उम्मीदवार बायोसीएआरई के लिए आवेदन करने के पात्र नहीं हैं। ख) महिला वैज्ञानिक जो अनुसंधान या शिक्षाविदों में किसी भी अस्थायी पद पर काम कर रही हैं, वे इस योजना के लिए आवेदन कर सकती हैं, लेकिन अगर बायोसीएआरई कार्यक्रम के तहत उनके लिए कोई परियोजना स्वीकृत हो जाती है तो उन्हें अपना पिछला कार्य छोड़ना होगा। ग) ऐसे उम्मीदवार जिन्हें पहले चिकित्सा भी सरकार से अनुसंधान के लिए प्रधान अन्वेषक के रूप में कोई अतिरिक्त धन प्राप्त हो चुका है। वित्त पोषण एजेंसी/सरकार समर्थित वित्त पोषण एजेंसी इस कार्यक्रम के तहत आवेदन करने के लिए पात्र नहीं है क्योंकि यह अनुसंधान के लिए उनकी पहली स्वीकृत और स्वतंत्र परियोजना होनी चाहिए। आयु: महिला वैज्ञानिक की आयु आवेदन जमा करने की अंतिम तिथि तक 45 वर्ष से कम होनी चाहिए। शैक्षणिक योग्यता: * * ए) * * श्रेणी-1: महिला वैज्ञानिक जिन्होंने जीवन विज्ञान या संबद्ध क्षेत्रों/अंत:विषय विज्ञान/एम. डी./एम. डी. एस./एम. वी. एस. सी. के किसी भी विषय में पी. एच. डी. पूरी की हो। * * महिला वैज्ञानिक जिन्होंने जैव प्रौद्योगिकी या संबद्ध क्षेत्रों/एम. फार्मा/- डिग्री धारकों में एम. टेक पूरा किया है * * नोट: * * जो उम्मीदवार पी. एच. डी. में पंजीकृत हैं और कोई अध्येतावृत्ति प्राप्त कर रहे हैं, वे आवेदन करने के पात्र नहीं हैं। उसे मेजबान संस्थान में एक स्थायी कर्मचारी होना चाहिए और आवेदक का जीवनसाथी या रिश्तेदार नहीं होना चाहिए। 1. वह वह व्यक्ति होगा जिसकी प्रयोगशाला में जिसकी देखरेख में आवेदक बायोसीएआरई कार्यक्रम के तहत परियोजना को पूरा करने का इरादा रखता है। 1. बायोसीएआरई योजना के तहत प्रस्तुत प्रस्ताव आवेदक की पहल होनी चाहिए और सलाहकार के शोध का विस्तार नहीं होना चाहिए। 1. प्रस्तावित शोध से सलाहकार के शोध हितों और विशेषज्ञता से पूरक और लाभान्वित होने की उम्मीद है। 1. मेंटर के पास कम से कम 5 साल की सेवा शेष होनी चाहिए। 1. मेंटर को आवेदक को प्रयोगशाला स्थान और परियोजना के लिए आवश्यक संसाधनों तक पहुंच की गारंटी देनी चाहिए, और परियोजना के कार्यकाल के लिए प्रासंगिक वैज्ञानिक मार्गदर्शन और कैरियर सलाह प्रदान करनी चाहिए। 1. मेंटर के पास पिछले पांच वर्षों में कम से कम तीन चल रही और/या चार सफलतापूर्वक पूरी की गई बाह्य अनुसंधान परियोजनाएं होनी चाहिए, जिन्हें सरकार/सरकार-समर्थित एजेंसियों द्वारा पी. आई. के रूप में वित्त पोषित किया जाना चाहिए। एक आवेदक सरकार द्वारा समर्थित/सरकारी वित्त पोषित (जैसे केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय, राज्य विश्वविद्यालय, स्वायत्त संस्थान, निजी विश्वविद्यालय/संस्थान आदि) या एक भारतीय "गैर-लाभकारी" संस्थान से शोध अनुदान के लिए अपना आवेदन जमा कर सकता है। 1. संस्थान को दिशानिर्देशों का पालन करना आवश्यक होगा। जैव प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग (डी. बी. टी.), भारत सरकार द्वारा उल्लिखित शर्तें

  1. चरण 1: Online application

    > Advertisement for Inviting Applications The scheme of BioCARe program will be advertised on PMU and the Department of Biotechnology website. The desirous candidates are required to apply through the link created on the website or as specified. Applications received through any other mode/channel will not be considered and are liable to be rejected. The process requires one full application with two parts. Part A requires General Information of the Applicant and Part B requires details related to the research proposal, budget, and regulatory details (see Annexure). > Selection Process a) The eligible applications will be screened by an Expert Committee constituted by the Department for shortlisting based on the following parameters: 1. Novelty 2. Scientific merit 3. Experience and the qualification of the Applicant as well as Mentor 4. Publications record 5. The infrastructure of the Host Institution b) Shortlisted applicants will be required to submit their full proposal which will be peer-reviewed and based on the reviews, the selected ones will have to present their research proposal to the Expert Committee. c) Once the project is technically approved, a formal sanction order will be issued as per the recommendations of the Expert Committee (EC). The total cost of the project will be based on the latest quotation(s) of equipment(s) approved under the project and other relevant documents related to consumables etc. submitted by the applicant. > Post-Selection Instructions for the Candidates 1. Applicants cannot use this program to pursue their Ph.D./higher studies. 1. Applicants with an MSc degree or those pursuing a PhD/ MTech/ MPharma/ MVSc/ MD/ MDS/equivalent are not eligible to apply. 1. The applicant must have been successfully awarded Ph.D./ MTech/ MPharma/ MVSc/ MD/ MDS/equivalent degree before applying. 1. The applicants currently availing of any postdoctoral or contractual fellowship have to resign from the same before accepting the project under BioCARe program. 1. The applicant cannot hold another Fellowship/Grant/Award that provides them salary/stipend/emoluments/personal support concurrently with BioCARe project. 1. The applicants holding or had availed any funding under Women specific scheme of DST or any other funding agency are also not eligible to apply. 1. The candidates are required to spend 100% of their research time on the BioCARe project. The research time should be corroborated by the Host Institution at the time of submission of annual technical and financial reports. 1. In case the applicant joins any regular employment during the tenure of the BioCARe project, then she will not receive any fellowship or honorarium from the BioCARe project. 1. It will be mandatory for the applicant to get a Co-PI nominated from the Institute/Organisation where she intends to join and work as a regular employee. All the necessary documents will be required to be submitted again for the same. 1. The applicants must indicate the number of years of experience post-qualifying degree (i.e. PhD/MTech/MVSc/MD/MDS/MPharma) in the application form and will be required to provide documents along with the application. 1.
