केरल में, अच्छी संख्या में महिलाओं को पारिवारिक प्रतिबद्धताओं के कारण करियर अवकाश से गुजरना होगा और जैसे-जैसे अंतर बढ़ेगा, उनके पास विज्ञान में पुनः प्रवेश के सीमित अवसर होंगे। इस स्थिति से उबरने और विज्ञान अनुसंधान में करियर ब्रेक लेने वाली महिलाओं के पुनः प्रवेश की सुविधा के लिए, केरल राज्य विज्ञान, प्रौद्योगिकी और पर्यावरण परिषद (के. एस. सी. एस. टी. ई.) ने 2010 में "बैक-टू-लैब रिसर्च फेलोशिप प्रोग्राम" शुरू किया। इस योजना का उद्देश्य महिला अनुसंधान विद्वानों को अनुसंधान में वापस आने और पीएचडी कार्यक्रम को पूरा करने में सहायता करना है। फेलोशिप आमतौर पर 3 साल की अवधि के लिए प्रदान की जाती है। यह योजना केरल मूल की बेरोजगार महिलाओं के लिए खुली है जो बुनियादी या अनुप्रयुक्त विज्ञान या व्यावसायिक पाठ्यक्रमों में स्नातकोत्तर डिग्री के साथ योग्य हैं। * *-एक वैज्ञानिक सलाहकार (अधिमानतः एक शोध मार्गदर्शक) होना चाहिए जो संस्थान का एक नियमित संकाय/कर्मचारी हो जिसके मार्गदर्शन में महिला वैज्ञानिक को काम करना चाहिए। वैज्ञानिक सलाहकार के पास सेवानिवृत्ति से पहले संस्थान में कम से कम 5 या अधिक वर्षों की सेवा बची होनी चाहिए। वैज्ञानिक सलाहकार को परियोजना की प्रगति की लगातार निगरानी करनी चाहिए, कार्यक्रम के सुचारू कार्यान्वयन की सुविधा प्रदान करनी चाहिए और संस्थान द्वारा के. एस. सी. एस. टी. ई. को वित्तीय उपयोग प्रमाण पत्र समय पर जमा करना सुनिश्चित करना चाहिए।-यदि शोध अध्येता अध्येतावृत्ति के निर्धारित कार्यकाल से पहले शोध प्रबंध प्रस्तुत करता है, तो शोध प्रबंध प्रस्तुति प्रमाण पत्र और अन्य पूर्णता दस्तावेज एक महीने के भीतर के. एस. सी. एस. टी. ई. को प्रस्तुत किए जाने चाहिए ताकि अध्येतावृत्ति की समाप्ति हो सके।-अन्य राज्य/केंद्रीय वित्तपोषण एजेंसियों या अन्य स्रोतों से वित्तीय सहायता/वजीफा प्राप्त करने वाले शोध अध्येता एक साथ के. एस. सी. एस. टी. ई. बैक-टू-लैब रिसर्च अध्येतावृत्ति के लिए पात्र नहीं होंगे। अनुसंधान अध्येता को इस आशय का वचन देना चाहिए कि वह एक साथ किसी अन्य स्रोत से वित्तीय सहायता/वजीफे का लाभ नहीं उठा रही है।-परियोजना के सुचारू कार्यान्वयन के लिए कार्यान्वयन संस्थान को प्रयोगशाला, कंप्यूटर, पुस्तकालय, संचार, आवास, पानी, बिजली आदि जैसी पूर्ण बुनियादी सुविधाएं प्रदान करनी चाहिए।-परियोजना अवधि के अंत में अनुदान का अप्रयुक्त हिस्सा (अर्जित ब्याज के साथ) डी. डी. द्वारा सदस्य सचिव, के. एस. सी. एस. टी. ई. के पक्ष में परिषद को वापस किया जाना चाहिए।-जो वैज्ञानिक परियोजना के तहत किए गए शोध कार्य के आधार पर तकनीकी/वैज्ञानिक पत्र प्रकाशित करते हैं, उन्हें के. एस. सी. एस. टी. ई. से प्राप्त सहायता को स्वीकार करना चाहिए।-अनुसंधान अध्येता को बिना किसी विदेशी पक्ष (व्यक्ति/उद्योग) के सहयोग के प्रवेश नहीं करना चाहिए।

पात्रता

  • केवल महिला उम्मीदवार ही आवेदन करने के पात्र हैं। 1. आवेदक केरल मूल का और बेरोजगार होना चाहिए। 1. आयु सीमाः 45 वर्ष। आवेदक के पास न्यूनतम 60 प्रतिशत अंकों के साथ स्नातकोत्तर योग्यता होनी चाहिए। 1. आवेदक के पास केरल में अनुसंधान और विकास संस्थानों, विश्वविद्यालय विभागों, सरकार सहित शैक्षणिक/अनुसंधान उत्कृष्टता के संस्थान में एक वैध पीएचडी पंजीकरण होना चाहिए। किसी भी स्ट्रीम में सहायता प्राप्त कॉलेज; विज्ञान, प्रौद्योगिकी, इंजीनियरिंग, कृषि या चिकित्सा (स्टीम)। 1. आवेदक के पास पीएचडी पाठ्यक्रम पूरा होना चाहिए। 1. केवल वे शोध छात्र जो मातृत्व या अन्य वैध कारणों से अपने पीएचडी कार्यक्रम के दौरान न्यूनतम 6 महीने की अवधि में करियर ब्रेक से गुजर चुके हैं, आवेदन करने के पात्र हैं। 1. आवेदक को पी. एच. डी. पंजीकरण की तारीख तक 4 वर्ष पूरे नहीं करने चाहिए। 1. आवेदक को पीएचडी कार्यक्रम के लिए किसी अन्य स्रोत से कोई फेलोशिप या अनुदान प्राप्त नहीं होना चाहिए।

Note 01: The envelope containing the application and relevant documents should be super scribed “Application for Back-to-lab Fellowship: Year” Note 02: A soft copy of the application in MS Word format and all supporting signed documents in .pdf format, should be mailed to the mail ID: [email protected] Note 03: Incomplete applications, applications not supported by relevant documents, and applications received after the due date will be rejected. > Scrutiny of the Application: Preliminary scrutiny of the application is carried out for verification of basic eligibility conditions and supporting documents. > Peer review: All eligible applications are subjected to peer review by five subject experts in the relevant area of research. Proposals with at least three reviews graded above 5 (on 10 point scale) are only considered for further processing. > Presentation before Expert Committee (whether RC or RAC): Proposals that have passed the peer review requirements will be invited for presentation before the Research Advisory Committee. One or two reviewers will serve as additional Subject Expert during the RAC meeting. On favourable recommendation by the RAC, the proposal will be considered for funding by KSCSTE.
