The "Chief Minister’s Girl Child Protection Scheme-I" was launched by the Social Welfare and Women Empowerment Department, Govt. of Tamil Nadu. लाभ
• दोनों बालिकाओं के नाम पर 25,000 रुपये की सावधि जमा (एफ. डी.) (एफ. डी. रसीद की एक प्रति परिवार को दी जाती है)।-पांच साल के बाद एफ. डी. का नवीनीकरण।-एफ. डी. के छठे वर्ष से 1,800 रुपये का वार्षिक प्रोत्साहन।-जमा की गई राशि अर्जित ब्याज के साथ बालिका को 18 वर्ष की आयु प्राप्त करने पर दी जाती है। * * नोटः * परिपक्व राशि बालिका को तभी दी जाएगी जब वह 10वीं कक्षा की सार्वजनिक परीक्षा में शामिल होगी।

योजना का विवरण

तमिलनाडु सरकार के समाज कल्याण और महिला सशक्तिकरण विभाग द्वारा मुख्यमंत्री बालिका बाल संरक्षण योजना-I और ID1 की शुरुआत की गई थी। इस योजना का उद्देश्य गरीब परिवारों की बालिकाओं को वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करने के साथ-साथ बालिका शिक्षा, छोटे परिवार के मानदंडों को बढ़ावा देना, बाल अनुपात में वृद्धि करना, पुरुष बच्चे की प्राथमिकता को हतोत्साहित करना और कन्या भ्रूण हत्या को समाप्त करना है।

पात्रता

  • सहायता परिवार की केवल दो बालिकाओं के लिए प्रदान की जाती है।-बालिका के माता-पिता की वार्षिक आय ₹72,000/- से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिए।-माता-पिता में से एक ने 40 वर्ष की आयु से पहले नसबंदी कराई होनी चाहिए।-परिवार में केवल एक महिला होनी चाहिए और कोई पुरुष बच्चा नहीं होना चाहिए। भविष्य में किसी भी पुरुष बच्चे को गोद नहीं लिया जाना चाहिए।-माता-पिता/दादा-दादी को इस योजना के लिए आवेदन करते समय जन्म से तमिलनाडु का मूल निवासी होना चाहिए या कम से कम दस साल का निरंतर निवास होना चाहिए।-यह योजना तमिलनाडु में शरणार्थी शिविरों में श्रीलंकाई तमिल शरणार्थियों की बालिकाओं पर भी लागू होती है।
