मध्य प्रदेश सरकार के अधिसूचित, खानाबदोश और अर्ध-खानाबदोश कल्याण विभाग द्वारा लागू की गई मुख्यमंत्री आवास किराया योजना, भोपाल, इंदौर, जबलपुर, ग्वालियर और उज्जैन में प्रति छात्र 2,000 रुपये प्रति माह का घर किराया भत्ता प्रदान करती है; जिला मुख्यालयों में प्रति छात्र 1,250 रुपये प्रति माह; और तहसील/विकास खंड मुख्यालयों और अन्य शहरों में प्रति छात्र 1,000 रुपये प्रति माह। योजना के परिणामों और प्रभाव का आकलन करने के लिए एक तीसरे पक्ष का मूल्यांकन किया जाएगा। निर्धारित भत्ते से अधिक कोई भी किराया राशि छात्रों द्वारा स्वयं वहन की जानी चाहिए। मकान किराया भत्ते के अलावा विभाग द्वारा कोई अन्य सुविधा प्रदान नहीं की जाएगी।
