"कस्तूरबा गांधी आवासीय बालिका छात्रावास" योजना समग्र शिक्षा कार्यक्रम के तहत एक पहल है, जिसे माध्यमिक शिक्षा विभाग, उत्तराखंड सरकार द्वारा लागू किया गया है। इस योजना का उद्देश्य उच्च प्राथमिक और माध्यमिक स्तरों पर शिक्षा में लड़कियों की भागीदारी को प्रोत्साहित करना और कक्षा 6 से 12 तक पढ़ने वाले वंचित समूहों की लड़कियों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा प्रदान करना है

पात्रता

  • आवेदक (छात्रा) को उत्तराखंड का निवासी होना चाहिए। 1. आवेदक को उच्च प्राथमिक या माध्यमिक स्तर (कक्षा 6 से कक्षा 12) में पढ़ रहा होना चाहिए। 1. योजना के लक्षित समूह के अनुरूप, के. जी. बी. वी. में 75 प्रतिशत सीटें अनुसूचित जाति, अनुसूचित जनजाति, अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग और अल्पसंख्यक समुदायों की लड़कियों के लिए आरक्षित हैं, जबकि शेष 25 प्रतिशत गरीबी रेखा से नीचे रहने वाले परिवारों की लड़कियों के लिए आरक्षित हैं। 1. इसके अलावा, आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर परिवारों की लड़कियां (जिनकी वार्षिक आय ₹55,000/- से कम है) या जिन्होंने अपने माता-पिता या एक माता-पिता दोनों को खो दिया है, वे भी प्रवेश के लिए पात्र होंगी
