"लैब ऑन व्हील्स" योजना उत्तराखंड राज्य विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी परिषद (यू. सी. ओ. एस. टी.) द्वारा विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी, उत्तराखंड सरकार के तहत लागू की गई है। इसका उद्देश्य राज्य के सभी 13 जिलों में स्कूली छात्रों और विज्ञान विषयों का अध्ययन करने वाले युवाओं के बीच विज्ञान शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देना और लोकप्रिय बनाना है। <बीआर>
उत्तराखंड के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में विज्ञान को लोकप्रिय बनाने और स्कूलों में विज्ञान शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देने के लिए लैब ऑन व्हील्स कार्यक्रम शुरू किया गया है। यह दूरदराज के क्षेत्रों सहित सभी जिलों के छात्रों को विज्ञान के व्यावहारिक अनुप्रयोगों का पता लगाने और सीखने का अवसर प्रदान करता है
