इस योजना का उद्देश्य बिना गैस कनेक्शन वाले परिवारों को मुफ्त एलपीजी कनेक्शन प्रदान करके हिमाचल प्रदेश की महिलाओं को घर के अंदर होने वाले प्रदूषण से मुक्त करना है। मुख्यमंत्री गृहणी सुविधा योजना शुरू करने का उद्देश्य उन परिवारों को मुफ्त गैस कनेक्शन प्रदान करना था जो केंद्र की उज्ज्वला योजना के तहत शामिल नहीं थे। राज्य सरकार ने इस योजना की शुरुआत पीएमयूवाई की तर्ज पर की थी। राज्य सरकार की मुख्यमंत्री गृहणी सुविधा योजना हिमाचल की महिलाओं के लिए वरदान साबित हुई है। मुख्यमंत्री गृहणी सुविधा योजना के परिणामस्वरूप ईंधन के लिए लकड़ी पर निर्भरता कम हो गई है। इसके अलावा महिलाओं के स्वास्थ्य पर धुएँ के प्रतिकूल प्रभाव से भी राहत मिली है और महिलाओं के जीवन स्तर में सुधार हुआ है।
The benefits of Himachal Pradesh Grihini Suvidha Yojna are as follows:-
HP govt. will provide one cylinder for domestic Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) connection and two additional cylinders to the poor families.
All families in the state who does not possess the LPG Gas Connections and are not covered under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) will get covered under HP Grahani Suvidha Scheme 2023.
This scheme aims to provide LPG Gas connection facility to all the poor families.
