पात्रता

  • शिक्षाविदों/अनुसंधान संस्थानों/उद्योग में नियमित पदों पर या राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर मान्यता प्राप्त दीर्घावधि अध्येतावृत्तियां (4 वर्ष और उससे अधिक) रखने वाले प्रारंभिक करियर शोधकर्ता आवेदन करने के पात्र होंगे। 1. आवेदक के पास "विज्ञान में परास्नातक/इंजीनियरिंग में स्नातक (4 वर्ष)" के रूप में न्यूनतम योग्यता होनी चाहिए। 1. अनुसंधान संस्थानों/उद्योगों से संबद्ध पीएचडी छात्र/स्नातकोत्तर भी आवेदन कर सकते हैं। 1. आवेदक की अधिकतम आयु सीमा 35 वर्ष होनी चाहिए। नोट 1: संस्थागत संबद्धता वाला आवेदक आवेदन के समय संस्थान के प्रमुख से अनापत्ति प्रमाण पत्र (एन. ओ. सी.) जमा करेगा। * * टिप्पणी 02: * * आवेदकों को फेलोशिप की अवधि के लिए अपने उद्देश्य, कार्य योजना और अपेक्षित परिणामों का उल्लेख करते हुए एक विस्तृत गतिविधि योजना को परिभाषित करना चाहिए। * * टिप्पणी 3: * * जोड़ी को पी. ई. सी. एफ. ए. आर. पुरस्कार की शुरुआत से 12 महीने के भीतर अपनी यात्राएं पूरी करनी चाहिए। * * टिप्पणी 04: * * दोनों पुरस्कार विजेताओं की यात्राओं के बीच का समय अंतराल 6 महीने से कम होना चाहिए। * * टिप्पणी 05: * * यात्रा की प्रस्तावित तिथि में किसी भी बदलाव की सूचना यात्रा की योजना बनाने से 45 दिन पहले आई. जी. एस. टी. सी. को दी जानी चाहिए। * * टिप्पणी 06: * * अध्येता जोड़ीदार संगठन और देश के आचरण, नियमों और विनियमों का पालन करेंगे। * * नोट 07: * * आई. जी. एस. टी. सी. उसके द्वारा किसी भी नियम और विनियमों के उल्लंघन के लिए जिम्मेदार नहीं होगा। * * टिप्पणी 08: * * जोड़ी के प्रत्येक पुरस्कार विजेता को अपनी यात्राओं के अंत में निर्धारित प्रारूप में फेलोशिप यात्रा रिपोर्ट के साथ यू. सी./एस. ई. जमा करना होगा। नोट 09: फेलोशिप के पूरा होने के 4 सप्ताह के भीतर, पुरस्कार विजेताओं को आई. जी. एस. टी. सी. को प्रतिनिधि तस्वीरों के साथ निर्धारित प्रारूप में मेजबान संस्थानों द्वारा समर्थित एक विस्तृत समेकित फेलोशिप पूर्णता रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करनी चाहिए। पुरस्कार विजेताओं के दोनों दौरों को पूरा करने के बाद दोनों पुरस्कार विजेताओं के लिए यात्रा सहायता की प्रतिपूर्ति की जाएगी। * * नोट 10: * * अध्येताओं को सभी ऑनलाइन/प्रिंट दस्तावेजों, संचार, रिपोर्ट, प्रकाशनों आदि में आई. जी. एस. टी. सी. फेलोशिप को पहचानना और स्वीकार करना चाहिए। अध्येतावृत्ति के परिणामस्वरूप कार्य पर।

    The applicant may submit the application for online via the “Application Portal”.

    To start the online application, the applicant must register on the portal first using your email address.

    Enter a correct working email address when the applicant registers in the portal, as it will send a link for verification.

    Registration can be done by any one of the members of the Pair. Please note that this should be initiated by only one member of the Pair. In case it is done by both the members the portal may block the email ID of the one who registers later.

    Once the registration is completed, the applicant can add his/her partner from India/Germany. The one who registers in the portal first (from the Pair) will be known as the Primary applicant. The Partner will receive a link for registration and filling up the information.

    Both fellows (from India & Germany) must individually complete their application and save it as a draft version. The final submission of the application will be done by the Primary applicant only.

    It is the responsibility of the Primary applicant to make sure that the application is completed by his/her partner before final submission. Note 01: Applicants must strictly follow the instructions given for application submission. Failure to do so may result in the rejection of the application. Note 02: The applications should be submitted via the “Online Application Portal”. Submissions by any other means will not be accepted. > Selection Procedure/Evaluation: A joint selection committee of experts shall review the applications based on the credentials of the pairs, feasibility, scope, and quality of the joint proposal plan for the fellowship duration, and expected outcomes (including future plans emerging out of the visit, value addition to the parent organization of the fellows). What is the PECFAR?

Who are eligible?

Early Career Researchers holding regular positions in academia/research institutions/industry or holding long-term nationally recognized fellowship (4 years and above). Minimum Qualification: Masterin Science/Bachelor degree in Engineering (4 years). PhD Students/Post-docs affiliated with research institutions/industries may also apply.

Is it mandatory to form a Pair to apply for the fellowship?

Yes.

What is meant by long term fellowship eligible to avail the PECFAR fellowship?

4 years and above.

I am an Indian working at a German academic/research institute. Can I apply for this fellowship?

Not preferred in case you underwent education in India.

Can I submit separate/multiple applications?

No.

Will IGSTC provide any assistance in forming the Pair?

No. Applicants are solely responsible for identifying & forming their respective pairs and acquiring acceptance letters from institutes/organizations of the paired fellows.

Is it mandatory for both fellows in pairto visit their respective paired institute/organisation?

Yes. It is mandatory for both the fellows in the pair to visit their respective paired institution/organisation. The duration of fellowship visit is up to 2 months with mandatory minimum stay of 3 weeks.

Can the fellows in pair travel to India/Germany at different times?

The two fellows can choose to travel to India/Germany at different times but within a time gap of 9 months. They should by all means not travel at the same time.

What is the age limit for applying?

35 years.

What is the nature of the support under this scheme?

Fellowship: EUR2300 per fellow/month on pro rata basis. Single round trip economy class airfare including visa fees and medical/travel insurances up to [?] 1 lakh (for Indian fellow) and EUR 1500 (for German fellow).

What do you mean by parent organization and mentor at parent organizations?

The parent organization is the organization in which the fellow is working currently. Mentor will be his/her supervisor/ Head of the organization.

How much time does the evaluation take?

IGSTC will complete the evaluation process within 8 weeks approximately after the deadline.

Can the fellowship be extended?

No.

Can anyone apply for this fellowship while holding another one?

Yes, provided the other fellowship doesn't come with any restrictions.

Will IGSTC provide any assistance in the booking of air tickets, visa appointments and accommodation?

No

Are there any rules/restrictions in Air ticket booking?

The Awardees shall book single round economy class shortest route air tickets within the sanctioned grant. IGSTC will not reimburse the cost of cancellation and re-routing. There is no restriction on the air carrier or travel agents for booking air tickets.
