समाज के विकास के लिए विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी आवश्यक उपकरण हैं। वैज्ञानिक निस्वार्थ भाव से सत्य की व्यवस्थित खोज और नए ज्ञान के विकास में बहुत महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं। वे राष्ट्र की रीढ़ हैं जो समाज में अथक योगदान देते हैं। विकास। वैज्ञानिकों के अनुकरणीय और उत्कृष्ट योगदान को मान्यता देने की आवश्यकता है ताकि वे दूसरों के लिए एक प्रेरणा के रूप में काम कर सकें। राष्ट्रीय विज्ञान पुरस्कार (आर. वी. पी.) का उद्देश्य वैज्ञानिकों, प्रौद्योगिकीविदों और नवोन्मेषकों द्वारा व्यक्तिगत रूप से या विज्ञान, प्रौद्योगिकी और प्रौद्योगिकी के नेतृत्व वाले नवाचार के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में टीमों में किए गए उल्लेखनीय और प्रेरणादायक योगदान को मान्यता देना है। आर. वी. पी. भारत में विज्ञान, प्रौद्योगिकी और नवाचार के क्षेत्र में सर्वोच्च मान्यताओं में से एक होगी। सरकारी, निजी क्षेत्र के संगठनों में काम करने वाले वैज्ञानिक/प्रौद्योगिकीविद्/नवप्रवर्तक या किसी भी संगठन के बाहर काम करने वाले व्यक्तियों जिन्होंने विज्ञान, प्रौद्योगिकी या प्रौद्योगिकी के नेतृत्व वाले नवाचार के किसी भी क्षेत्र में पथप्रदर्शक अनुसंधान या नवाचार या खोज के मामले में विशिष्ट योगदान दिया है, वे पुरस्कारों के लिए पात्र होंगे। भारतीय समुदायों या समाज को लाभान्वित करने वाले असाधारण योगदान के साथ विदेशों में रहने वाले भारतीय मूल के लोग भी पुरस्कारों के लिए पात्र होंगे। विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी के किसी भी क्षेत्र में किए गए योगदान. ख) विज्ञान श्री (वी. एस.) पुरस्कार विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी के किसी भी क्षेत्र में विशिष्ट योगदान को मान्यता देने के लिए दिया जाएगा. ग) विज्ञान युवा-शांति स्वरूप भटनागर (वी. वाई.-एस. एस. बी.) पुरस्कार को मान्यता देने के लिए दिया जाएगा। विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी के किसी भी क्षेत्र में असाधारण योगदान देने वाले युवा वैज्ञानिकों को प्रोत्साहित करना. घ) विज्ञान टीम (वी. टी.) पुरस्कार तीन या अधिक वैज्ञानिकों/शोधकर्ताओं/नवप्रवर्तकों की एक टीम को दिया जाएगा, जिन्होंने विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी के किसी भी क्षेत्र में एक टीम में असाधारण योगदान दिया है। * पुरस्कार मैक्स का नाम। पुरस्कारों की संख्या विज्ञान रत्न (वी. आर.) 03 विज्ञान श्री (वी. एस.) 25 विज्ञान युवा-शांति स्वरूप भटनागर (वी. वाई.-एस. एस. बी.) 25 विज्ञान टीम (वी. टी.) 03 समारोह का विवरण * क) इन पुरस्कारों की घोषणा हर साल राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी दिवस (11 मई) पर की जाएगी। भारत के राष्ट्रपति/माननीय & #39; भारत के उपराष्ट्रपति पुरस्कार प्रदान कर सकते हैं. घ) पुरस्कार समारोह हर साल विज्ञान भवन में या किसी वैकल्पिक उपयुक्त स्थान पर आयोजित किया जा सकता है. ङ) ये सभी पुरस्कार वर्ष 2024 से शुरू होंगे।
