    Request a receipt or acknowledgment from the concerned authority to whom the application has been submitted. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission and a unique identification number (if applicable). Reporting the Death: Upon discovering an unclaimed or destitute deceased individual, the voluntary organization should immediately report the death to the local authorities or police station. Verification: The local police or competent authority will verify the status of the deceased as unclaimed or destitute.
