The Scheme “Organization of Multi-Purpose Camps/ Public Awareness Camps/ Medical Camps/L egal Service Camps” has been implemented by the Uttarakhand State Legal Services Authority, Nainital under the Department of Law, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to organize camps and awareness programs across urban and rural areas to inform and empower vulnerable groups such as women, children, senior citizens, workers in the unorganized sector, persons with disabilities, acid attack survivors and victims of trafficking about their legal rights.

For the effective implementation of public welfare schemes of the Hon’ble National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), New Delhi, the District Legal Services Authorities, Tehsil Legal Services Committees, and the Uttarakhand State Legal Services Authority also organize multi-purpose camps, awareness programs, debate competitions, painting competitions, and essay competitions across urban areas and remote rural regions.

Step 1: Offline application
• Before organizing any awareness camp or medical camp, the District Legal Services Authorities publicize the event through daily newspapers and inform public representatives and village panchayat-level officers of the concerned area so that local residents can avail the benefits of the multi-purpose or public awareness camps. • Participation in these camps is completely free, and underprivileged individuals in need of certificates, medical examinations, or legal aid can obtain them at these camps. • Updates regarding upcoming camps are also available on https://slsa.uk.gov.in. <br>
