पर्यटन निदेशालय, अंडमान और निकोबार प्रशासन, भारत सरकार के पर्यटन मंत्रालय के अनुमोदित दिशानिर्देशों के आधार पर पूरे द्वीप में 'अंडमान और निकोबार बेड एंड ब्रेकफास्ट/होमस्टे योजना' लागू कर रहा है। भारत सरकार, "अतुल्य भारत बिस्तर और नाश्ता/होमस्टे प्रतिष्ठान" योजना के तहत। इस योजना की अवधारणा विदेशियों और घरेलू पर्यटकों को भारतीय रीति-रिवाजों और परंपराओं का अनुभव करने के लिए एक भारतीय परिवार के साथ रहने के लिए पूरक और गुणवत्तापूर्ण आवास प्रदान करना है। पर्यटकों को मानकीकृत विश्व स्तरीय सेवाओं की आरामदायक होम स्टे सुविधाएं प्रदान करने और पर्यटन स्थलों में आवास की उपलब्धता को पूरा करने के उद्देश्य से, पर्यटन विभाग, अंडमान और निकोबार प्रशासन बिस्तर और नाश्ता/होम स्टे सुविधाओं के पूरी तरह से संचालित कमरों को "अंडमान और निकोबार बिस्तर और नाश्ता/होमस्टे प्रतिष्ठान" के रूप में वर्गीकृत करेगा। मूल विचार विदेशियों और घरेलू पर्यटकों के लिए समान रूप से एक स्वच्छ और किफायती स्थान प्रदान करना है, जिसमें विदेशी पर्यटकों को भारतीय रीति-रिवाजों और परंपराओं का अनुभव करने और प्रामाणिक भारतीय व्यंजनों का आनंद लेने के लिए एक भारतीय परिवार के साथ रहने का अवसर भी शामिल है। <बीआर>
1. यह योजना बिस्तर और नाश्ते के आधार पर होगी और उसी के अनुसार शुल्क लगाना होगा। परोसे जाने वाले नाश्ते का प्रकार निर्दिष्ट करना होगा, शुल्क प्रदर्शित करना होगा और अनावश्यक विवादों से बचने के लिए आगंतुकों को पहले से सूचित करना होगा। 1. एक बार जब कोई प्रतिष्ठान वर्गीकरण या पुनर्वर्गीकरण के लिए आवेदन करता है, तो उसे वर्गीकरण समिति द्वारा निरीक्षण के लिए हर समय तैयार रहना होगा। निरीक्षण को स्थगित करने के किसी भी अनुरोध पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा। 1. वर्गीकरण आदेश जारी होने की तारीख से तीन साल के लिए या पुनर्वर्गीकरण के मामले में अंतिम वर्गीकरण की समाप्ति की तारीख से वैध होगा, बशर्ते कि आवेदन निर्धारित समय के भीतर प्राप्त हो गया हो, यानी अंतिम वर्गीकरण की समाप्ति से 3 महीने पहले। 1. बी एंड बी या होमस्टे के वर्गीकरण या पुनर्वर्गीकरण के लिए देय आवेदन शुल्क निम्नानुसार होगा, और डिमांड ड्राफ्ट वरिष्ठ लेखा अधिकारी, आईपी एंड टी निदेशालय, पोर्ट ब्लेयर को देय होगा। * * स्टार श्रेणी * * * * वर्गीकरण/पुनर्वर्गीकरण के लिए * * चांदी ₹1,000/- सोना ₹2,000/-
चरण 1: Online application
> Application Form • Fill out the prescribed application form (Annexure I), facilities checklist (Annexure II), and undertaking (Annexure III) page no. 4 onwards > Attach Documents: Include supporting documents such as: • Proof of ownership or lease • ID proof of applicant • Photographs of rooms, kitchen, entry area • No Objection Certificate (if applicable) > Fee Payment: • Pay the applicable registration/classification fee and attach the payment receipt. > Submit To: • The Director (Tourism) • Directorate of Tourism, • Andaman & Nicobar Administration, • Port Blair > Inspection: • Premises will be physically inspected by the classification committee after preliminary scrutiny. > Certificate Issuance: • Upon successful inspection, a classification certificate will be issued. > Validity: • Certificate is valid for 2 years. • Renewal application must be submitted at least 3 months before expiry. <br>
The scheme aims to provide clean, affordable, and quality accommodation for domestic and foreign tourists by allowing them to stay with Indian families and experience authentic Indian culture and cuisine.
Only homeowners who physically reside in the same premises with their family and are offering 1 to 6 rooms (max 12 beds) for guests are eligible to apply. <br>
Applicants can let out a minimum of one room and a maximum of six rooms, with a total capacity of up to 12 beds.
There are two classification categories: - Silver - Gold
- Silver Category: ₹3,000- Gold Category: ₹5,000 (As per latest fee structure for Andaman & Nicobar administration)
The classification is valid for 3 years from the date of issue (or from the expiry date of the last classification if reapplying within 3 months before expiry).
Only bed and breakfast is included. The type of breakfast offered must be clearly specified, priced, and communicated to the guests in advance.
Yes. Once an application is submitted, the establishment must be ready at all times for an onsite inspection by the Classification Committee. No postponement requests are allowed.
Applicants must: - Apply online or in-person at the Ministry of Tourism regional office.- Submit the completed application form with all required documents.- Pay the required fee.- Undergo site inspection. - Receive approval/license within approximately 30 days, depending on completeness and location.
The form can be obtained from the Ministry of Tourism's regional office or downloaded online (refer to page 9 of the official guidelines). If no regional office is available in the applicant’s area, the nearest state tourism office should be approached.
