"कृषि सूचना इकाई योजना" एक राज्य योजना योजना है, जिसे मेघालय सरकार के कृषि और किसान कल्याण विभाग द्वारा लागू किया जाता है। इस योजना का उद्देश्य सूचना पत्रक, पुस्तिका आदि का निःशुल्क वितरण करना है। राज्य के भीतर और बाहर व्यापार मेलों, प्रदर्शनी और प्रदर्शनियों में भाग लेने और/या आयोजित करने के लिए किसानों और स्वयं सहायता समूहों को प्रायोजित करना।
सहायता का प्रारूपः-राज्य के भीतर और बाहर व्यापार मेलों, प्रदर्शनी, प्रदर्शनियों जैसे कार्यक्रमों के लिए किसान समूह, एसएचजी को प्रायोजित करने सहित सूचना पत्रक, प्रथाओं के पैकेज, पुस्तिकाओं आदि का मुफ्त वितरण। सहायता और अधिकार का प्रकार (यदि कोई हो):-किसानों की प्रदर्शनी यात्रा, फसल प्रतियोगिता आयोजित करना, पुस्तिकाओं, पर्चे, किसान कैलेंडर, प्रकाशनों की छपाई, विश्व खाद्य दिवस का पालन, व्यापार मेले, प्रदर्शनी, किसान मेले में भाग लेने के लिए किसानों को प्रायोजित करना।

> Application Process: To avail the benefits of the scheme, the bonafide farmers can approach the nearest Agriculture Development Officer of a CD Block/Agriculture Circle. > Mode of Selection of Beneficiary(s): Does not arise. All farmers can avail of publication materials on a first come first serve basis. > Whom to Contact: 1. Agriculture Information Officer, Directorate of Agriculture. 1. District Agriculture Officers of the concerned districts. 1. Sub-divisional Officers of the concerned sub-divisions. 1. Agriculture Development Officers of the concerned Community and Rural Development Blocks.

Support Farmers Exposure Trip, Sponsoring farmers/entrepreneurs to participate in Trade Fair, Exhibition, Kisan Mela, printing of booklets, leaflets, farmers' calendar, publications, observation of World Food Day etc.
Free distribution of information leaflets, package of practices, booklets etc, including sponsoring Farmers Group, SHG to exposure programmes like trade fairs, expos, exhibitions in and outside the State.
Bona fide farmers can approach the District Agriculture Officers of the concerned districts through Agriculture Development Officer of C & RD Block / Agriculture Circle /Agriculture Information Officer, Directorate of Agriculture Sub Divisional Officers of the concerned subdivisions.
All farmers can avail of publication materials. Progressive farmers/entrepreneurs are eligible to apply for attending Trade Fairs/ Expos /Exhibitions outside the State. All farmers can apply to attend Fairs / Expos/ Exhibitions within the State subject to availability of funds and on a first come first basis.
