परिचय पारंपरिक नाई केरल के सबसे पिछड़े समुदायों में से एक हैं। परिवर्तित आधुनिक परिदृश्य में, इस समुदाय को अपने जीवन में पारंपरिक रूप से शामिल व्यवसाय से संबंधित चुनौतियों का सामना करना पड़ता है। समाज में उनके अस्तित्व को बनाए रखने के लिए, उनके कार्य स्थलों का आधुनिकीकरण और नवीनीकरण करके उन्हें मजबूत करने की आवश्यकता है। उपरोक्त तथ्यों को ध्यान में रखते हुए, पिछड़े समुदाय विकास विभाग ने पारंपरिक नाई की दुकानों के स्तर को ऊपर उठाने के लिए वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करने के लिए एक नई योजना तैयार की है। इस योजना में पारंपरिक नाई की समस्याओं को कम करने के लिए पारंपरिक नाई की दुकान के कार्य वातावरण और सामग्री में सुधार की परिकल्पना की गई है। लक्ष्य/उद्देश्यः * * 1. अपनी दुकानों का आधुनिकीकरण करके पारंपरिक नाई समुदायों की गरिमा को ऊपर उठाना। 1. ऊपर से सेवारत पेशेवरों के जीवन स्तर में सुधार करना। 1. इस पेशे को अपनाने वाले लोगों की मदद करने के लिए सरकार की चिंता और प्रयासों के बारे में जन जागरूकता फैलाना। 1. स्वच्छ बुनियादी ढांचा प्रदान करके सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य में सुधार करना। योजना की निगरानीः योजना के कार्यान्वयन की निगरानी विभाग के क्षेत्रीय उप निदेशकों द्वारा की जाएगी।
1. योजना के तहत एक लाभार्थी द्वारा प्राप्त किया जा सकने वाला अधिकतम अनुदान ₹25,000/- है। * * वित्तीय सहायता ऑनलाइन निधि अंतरण प्रणाली के माध्यम से लाभार्थी के खाते में हस्तांतरित की जाएगी। * * टिप्पणी 02: * * यदि आधुनिकीकरण की कुल लागत ₹10,000/- या उससे कम है (यानी पात्र सहायता ₹5,000/- या उससे कम है), तो इसे एक ही किस्त में वितरित किया जाएगा। * * यदि आधुनिकीकरण की कुल लागत ₹10,000/- से अधिक है, तो इसे दो किश्तों में वितरित किया जाएगा, पात्र सहायता का 60 प्रतिशत पहली किश्त के रूप में भुगतान किया जाएगा और शेष 40 प्रतिशत का भुगतान कार्य पूरा होने पर किया जाएगा और विभाग के अधिकृत अधिकारी द्वारा उचित सत्यापन और प्रमाणन किया जाएगा। * * वित्तीय सहायता आधुनिकीकरण के लिए कुल परियोजना लागत का 50 प्रतिशत होगी, जो अधिकतम ₹25,000/- होगी। * * अनुदान का उपयोग उपकरण और फर्नीचर खरीदने के लिए किया जा सकता है। * * टिप्पणी 06: * * अनुदान का उपयोग कीटाणुनाशक, नसबंदी उपकरण और डिस्पोजेबल तौलिए खरीदने के लिए किया जा सकता है। * * नोट 07: * अनुदान का उपयोग मौजूदा दुकान की स्वच्छता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए किया जा सकता है।

Applications for availing financial assistance under the scheme will be invited from the concerned Local Self Government.

The applicant may submit the completely filled application form along with all the relevant documents to the concerned Grama Panchayath. > Selection Process:

The application will be scrutinized/evaluated and the eligible applications will be forwarded, along with the recommendation of LSGD authorities, to the Regional Deputy Directors of BCDD.

The Grama Panchayat has to prepare a seniority list based on the parameters of the selection process.
चरण 3: Offline — Step 03
On selection, the eligible candidates will be required to submit relevant documents to the concerned Regional Deputy Director of the Backward Communities Development Department.
चरण 4: Offline — Step 04
The applicants will have to executive an agreement with the Government on stamp paper of face value ₹100. On signing the agreement first instalment of the total eligible amount of assistance as per the project report will be paid to the beneficiary.
चरण 5: Offline — Step 05
The beneficiary will have to complete the work within one month of the receipt of the first installment in accordance with the project report submitted by him. The scheme envisages improving the working environment and materials of the traditional barbershop to alleviate the problems faced by traditional barbers.
The objective of the scheme is to uplift the dignity of the traditional Barber communities by modernizing their shops, to improve the standard of living of the above-serving professionals, to spread public awareness of the Government's concern and efforts to help the people who undertaking this profession & to improve the Public health by providing hygienic infrastructure.
