"कॉयर उद्योग प्रौद्योगिकी उन्नयन योजना (सीआईटीयूएस)" कॉयर विकास योजना का एक घटक है, जिसे सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यम मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार द्वारा लागू किया जाता है। यह योजना उत्पादकता और उत्पाद की गुणवत्ता में सुधार के लिए नई मशीनरी, बुनियादी ढांचे और प्रौद्योगिकी को अपनाने के लिए सहायता प्रदान करके कॉयर इकाइयों के आधुनिकीकरण पर केंद्रित है। यह नई कॉयर प्रसंस्करण इकाइयों की स्थापना, नए क्षेत्रों में विस्तार और कच्चे के बेहतर उपयोग को भी बढ़ावा देता है। विशेष रूप से ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में महिलाओं के लिए रोजगार पैदा करने और नए उद्यमियों को प्रोत्साहित करने पर विशेष जोर दिया जाता है। यह योजना पर्यावरण के अनुकूल उत्पादन प्रथाओं का समर्थन करती है और इसका उद्देश्य कॉयर उद्योग को अधिक प्रतिस्पर्धी और प्रौद्योगिकी संचालित बनाना है। इसे कॉयर बोर्ड द्वारा विशेष संस्थानों से तकनीकी सहायता के साथ लागू किया जाता है

The objectives of this component are: To provide modern infrastructure facilities to the production units resulting in improvement of productivity and quality. To support the establishment of new 'State-of-the-Art' Coir Processing Units. To spread the industry to potential areas. To promote enhanced utilization of available raw materials. Assistance will be available to entrepreneurs in the categories of individuals/partnership firms, SHGs, Associations, enterprises from small scale / medium / co-operative/ private sector / public sector, interested for production of value added coir /coir blended items, where coir is the dominant fiber by setting up new coir unit or upgrading the existing unit.
Yes, all coir production/processing units registered with the Coir Board under Coir Industry (Registration) Rules, 2008, and having Udyog Aadhaar are eligible to apply for financial assistance for modernization under this scheme.
The financial assistance shall be 25% of the cost of admissible items of Plant and Machinery procured by the Coir units. The upper ceiling of the financial assistance will be [?]2.50 crore per coir unit/project.
All eligible Coir units under the component will be entitled to get financial assistance for the procurement of eligible Plants and Machinery for modernization, upgradation, and/or establishing a new unit on making an application in the prescribed format for the purpose.
The financial assistance will be payable only in Indian Rupees in India through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode and Public Finance Management System (PFMS) as reimbursement of the amount invested.
The financial assistance under this component will be available to entrepreneurs who have not availed of any Central Government subsidy under PMEGP, CUY, DPI, TUF, etc. for the same purpose.
