न्याय विभाग (डी. ओ. जे.) के तहत कानून और न्याय मंत्रालय ने युवा कानून छात्रों के लिए 'एल. एल. बी. इंटर्नशिप प्रोग्राम' नामक एक इंटर्नशिप कार्यक्रम शुरू किया है। इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य न्याय वितरण के विभिन्न विशेष क्षेत्रों में अनुसंधान और संदर्भ कार्य के क्षेत्र में प्रशिक्षण देकर युवा कानून के छात्रों को न्याय विभाग के कामकाज से अच्छी तरह से परिचित कराना है, जैसे किः-1. न्याय तक पहुंच (टेली-लॉ, न्याय बंधु, कानूनी सहायता, प्रो बोनो कानूनी सेवाएं); 1. ई-कोर्ट सेवाएं। फास्ट ट्रैक विशेष न्यायालय; 1. न्याय वितरण और कानूनी सुधारों के लिए राष्ट्रीय मिशन और; जिला और अधीनस्थ न्यायपालिका में बुनियादी सुविधाओं के विकास के लिए सीएसएस। इंटर्नशिप की अवधि आमतौर पर एक महीने (चार सप्ताह) की अवधि के लिए रहती है। प्रशिक्षुओं की संख्याः किसी दिए गए मासिक स्थान में प्रशिक्षुओं की अधिकतम संख्या केवल 10 उम्मीदवारों की होगी, जो विभाग की आवश्यकता के अधीन होगी। नियुक्तिः प्रत्येक चयनित प्रशिक्षु को सक्षम प्राधिकारी के अनुमोदन से उप सचिव/निदेशक/संयुक्त सचिव/या ओ/ओ सचिव, न्याय विभाग, ओ/ओ राज्य मंत्री, कानून और न्याय (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) के स्तर के अधिकारी के साथ तैनात किया जाएगा। उपस्थितिः अन्य बातों के साथ-साथ संतोषजनक समापन के लिए 90 प्रतिशत उपस्थिति अनिवार्य है। यह शारीरिक रूप से भाग लेने के लिए एक पूर्णकालिक इंटर्नशिप है। <बीआर>

Each selected intern shall be posted with an officer of the level of Assistant Legal Adviser/Deputy Legal Adviser/ Additional Legal Adviser/Joint Secretary & Legal Adviser/Additional Secretary/O/o the Law Secretary/ O/o the Minister of State (Law & Justice)/ O/o Minister of Law & Justice/Branch Secretariats and the Law Officers of Govt. of India with the approval of the Competent Authority.
The students of Law streams may undertake internships in the Department.
At the end of the Internship Programme, all the interns will be required to submit a report on the work undertaken in this Department.
The applicant should be ANY ONE of the following - 1. An Indian student pursuing studies in the 2nd/3rd year of a three-year degree course from any recognized college/law school/university. 2. An Indian student pursuing studies in the 3rd/4th/5th year of a five-year degree course from any recognized college/law school/university. 3. An Indian student who has completed his/her LLB course from any recognized college/law school/university.
The maximum number of interns to be allowed in a given month will be between 10 and 30.
The duration of the internship ordinarily remains for a period of one month.
Library Facility at the Main Secretariat is limited to referencing only; borrowing of books/journals is not extended to the interns. However, photocopies may be obtained from the Library.
There will be no commitment to the placement of interns in the Ministry/Department or allied/ subordinate organizations.
Yes, on satisfactory completion of the internship, a Certificate of Internship shall be awarded.
