The Union Territory of Lakshadweep has implemented the scheme “25% Capital Investment Subsidy” to provide financial assistance to local entrepreneurs for promoting Micro and small Enterprises in Lakshadweep.
The scheme aims to promote safe & regulated adventure tourism in the state by allowing licensed rafting companies to operate & issuing certifications to qualified river guides. Under this scheme, rafting companies are granted permission to operate, and licenses are issued to qualified river guides.

उत्तराखंड सरकार के पर्यटन विभाग के तहत उत्तराखंड पर्यटन विकास बोर्ड द्वारा "रिवर राफ्टिंग/कयाकिंग गतिविधियों का संचालन" योजना लागू की गई है। इस योजना का उद्देश्य लाइसेंस प्राप्त राफ्टिंग कंपनियों को योग्य नदी गाइडों को संचालन और प्रमाणन जारी करने की अनुमति देकर राज्य में सुरक्षित और विनियमित साहसिक पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देना है

चरण 1: Offline application
(1) Applicants seeking permission for River Rafting/Kayaking can apply between 1st July and 31st July for the River Ganga, and throughout the year for other rivers. 1. For running the firm: • Application letter • Prescribed application form • Insurance of the firm • Valid registration under the Firms/Societies Act • Uttarakhand Travel Business Registration Certificate • Three years of experience in adventure activities • Details of the staff working in the firm • Details of rafts/kayaks/safety equipment • Application fee as per rules: Rs. 1000/- 2. For River Guide: • Be in good health • Age should be between 18 and 50 years • Minimum educational qualification: Must have passed 10th (High School) class • Be capable of swimming • Every guide must hold a valid First Aid Certification issued by Red Cross, St. John's Ambulance, or other recognized organizations (1) After due scrutiny of the applications by the Department, they are placed before the Technical Committee. (2) After inspection by the Technical Committee, all applicants are informed about the permission, along with reasons, by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board within a maximum period of 45 days. <br>
Applicants must be residents of Uttarakhand for at least ten years or native to the state and should have advanced practical/technical knowledge of adventure sports. <br>
Individuals aged 18–50, in good health, capable of swimming, with a minimum education of 10th class, and holding a valid First Aid Certification. <br>
Applications for the River Ganga are accepted from 1st July to 31st July, while applications for other rivers can be submitted throughout the year. <br>
