  • The applicant must be an institution such as NI-MSME, National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), Coir Board, Tool Rooms/Technology Centres, or Mahatma Gandhi Institute for Rural Industrialisation (MGIRI).
  • The applicant may include State Government training institutions or District Industries Centres in Eastern Region and North Eastern Region.
  • The applicant must conduct skill development training programmes related to MSME sector.

How to Apply

  1. Step 1: Offline — Step 01

    The proposals for assistance shall be processed for submission to the Screening Committee for consideration.

  2. Step 2: Offline — Step 02

    The Screening Committee shall examine all the proposals received under the scheme and submit its recommendations to the Secretary (MSME).

  3. Step 3: Offline — Step 03

    After approval of the Secretary (MSME), administrative approval shall be conveyed to the applicant organization, and admissible financial assistance shall be released in accordance with the approval letter. It is clarified that private training institutions/NGOs are not covered under the scheme for assistance for infrastructure support and training programmes. > Miscellaneous: An online mechanism for maintaining the details related to beneficiaries is already in place @ www.ati.msme.gov.in. To meet the expenditure related to Aadhaar authentication services and maintenance/development of online software and other miscellaneous/administrative expenses related to the Scheme will be met from the budget provision (General Head) under the Scheme.

The overall impact of the scheme shall be got evaluated by an independent agency at the end of the Fifteenth Finance Commission Cycle i.e. 2025-26.
