The scheme "Bihar State Madarsa Strengthening Scheme" was launched by the Minority Welfare Department, Government of Bihar, to improve the quality of education in recognized Madarsas. The scheme provides for the construction of buildings, office rooms, multipurpose halls, hostels, and vocational training halls, along with upgrading classrooms, libraries, and labs.
Amenities such as kitchens, mess halls, toilets, clean drinking water facilities, and electricity upgrades, including the installation of solar power plants, are covered under the scheme.
Madrasas recognized by the Bihar State Madrasa Board or other government Madrasas located in Bihar are eligible.
The Madrasa must have an enrollment of more than 70 students to qualify for the scheme.
The Madrasa should have been recognized for at least two years.
The Madrasa must possess legally owned land that is free from disputes.
Madrasas can apply by visiting the District Minority Welfare Office, collecting the application form, filling it out with necessary documents, and submitting it at the office.
