The Union Territory of Lakshadweep has implemented the scheme “25% Capital Investment Subsidy” to provide financial assistance to local entrepreneurs for promoting Micro and small Enterprises in Lakshadweep.
The scheme aims to introduce and recognize Goan Innovators/Scientists who have achieved excellence in the fields of Science, Technology, and Innovation. The scheme rewards eligible Students, Startups, Innovators, Research Faculty, and Scientists with three annual cash awards of ₹2,00,000/- each.

The scheme "Scheme for Goa Rajya Vidnyanik Puraskar (GRVP)" was launched by the Department of Science & Technology & Waste Management (DS&T & WM), Government of Goa. The scheme aims to introduce an award to be given to Goan Innovators/Scientists who have implemented their ideas to innovations and also achieved excellence in the field of Science and Technology and Innovation. The scheme also seeks to drive the innovation agenda in the State and harness the core competencies, local resources and capabilities to create new Innovations, while encouraging Scientists, innovators, young talent in universities, educational institutes, Medium and Small Scale Industries (MSME), and Research and Development (R&D) institutes.

Step 1: Online — Step 1
** *Access the Virtual Innovation Register Portal*** - The applicant must access the official application portal.- On the homepage, click on "Registration". You will be taken to the registration page. Fill in all the mandatory fields and register. If prompted, verify your Email ID and Mobile Number via OTP.
Step 2: Online — Step 2
** *Submit the Online Application and Required Details*** - Use the credentials you created during registration to log in. Navigate to the online form of the scheme. - In the form, fill in all the mandatory fields and upload all the mandatory documents in the specified format and size. Ensure that all documents are clear, legible, and in the accepted file format before uploading. - Carefully review all the information provided and the documents uploaded. Make any necessary corrections. - Click the "Submit" button to submit your application. You'll receive a confirmation message.
Step 3: Online — Step 3
** *Application Scrutiny and Shortlisting by the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC)*** - The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) for the Goa Rajya Vidnyanik Puraskar, consisting of a Chairman and 3 expert members, shall scrutinize all submitted applications. - The Technical Advisory Committee will shortlist the eligible applications for the purpose of inviting them for the subsequent presentation before the Expert Committee.
Step 4: Online — Step 4
** *Final Round Presentation before the Expert Committee*** - Shortlisted applicants are invited for a final round presentation in front of the Expert Committee, which includes a Chairman and two members nominated by the Government. - The Expert Committee will judge the shortlisted applicants through presentation on the basis of the progress that has been achieved or has a high probability of being achieved.
Step 5: Online — Step 5
** *Declaration of Results and Release of Award Money*** - The Goa State Innovation Council (GSInC) should forward the decisions/results declared by the Expert Committee, duly approved by the Chairman of the Goa State Innovation Council, to the Department of Science & Technology & Waste Management (DS&T & WM). - This submission must include the pre-receipt and Bank account details obtained from the beneficiaries for the subsequent process to release the award money directly into their bank account. <br>
The project submitted must relate specifically to a hardware-based or software-based product innovation to meet the scheme's criteria. <br>
You are required to enclose a certificate obtained from the competent authority that proves your residency in the State of Goa for the requisite period of 15 years. <br>

The Scheme for Goa Rajya Vidnyanik Puraskar (GRVP) shall remain officially in force for a period of 3 years from the date it is notified in the Official Gazette of the Government of Goa. <br>
You must submit a pre-receipt for the awarded amount along with your Bank account details. This allows the Department of Science & Technology & Waste Management (DS&T & WM) to directly deposit the funds into your account. <br>
Eligible applicants include Students, Startups, Innovators, Research Faculty, and Scientists. <br>
The scheme provides three awards annually. These three awards are given, one each, in the categories of Innovation, Environment, and Societal impact. <br>
Yes, the applicant must mandatorily be a resident of the State of Goa for the immediate last 15 years prior to submitting the application. <br>
Each individual award given under the scheme is structured as a cash prize, totaling ₹2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs). <br>
Yes, the scheme specifies that an applicant should avail of the benefits of this scheme only once throughout their lifetime. <br>
You must submit Video Links or Proof of Concept or a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) as documentation supporting the application. <br>
Any grievances or disputes must be referred to the Secretary (Science & Technology & Waste Management). The decision rendered by the Secretary is final and binding on all concerned parties. <br>
