The Union Territory of Lakshadweep has implemented the scheme “25% Capital Investment Subsidy” to provide financial assistance to local entrepreneurs for promoting Micro and small Enterprises in Lakshadweep.
The scheme aims to provide financial support to traditional women workers whose primary occupation is handloom weaving, spinning, or related weaving activities. Under this scheme, eligible women workers are provided with handloom equipment, including looms & related equipment, worth upto ₹25,000/-.

"हथकरघा कताई-बुनाई महिला श्रमिकों के लिए सहायता योजना" उत्तराखंड सरकार के उद्योग विभाग के तहत सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यम (एमएसएमई) विभाग द्वारा लागू की जाती है। इस योजना का उद्देश्य पारंपरिक महिला श्रमिकों को वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करना है जिनका प्राथमिक व्यवसाय हथकरघा बुनाई, कताई या संबंधित बुनाई गतिविधियाँ हैं
इस योजना के तहत, चयनित महिला श्रमिकों को हथकरघा/पैंटलूम/फ्रेम रूम और अन्य संबंधित उपकरण और उपकरण प्रदान करने के लिए, कुल लागत का 90 प्रतिशत (अधिकतम 25,000 रुपये तक) विभाग द्वारा वहन किया जाएगा, जबकि शेष 10 प्रतिशत का योगदान लाभार्थी द्वारा स्वयं किया जाएगा
चरण 1: Online application
• Application forms can be obtained from the General Manager, District Industries Centre, or downloaded from the departmental website at https://doi.uk.org. - Along with the application form, applicants must submit a copy of their Aadhaar card, bank account details, relevant registration certificate (if registered with the Government of India or the State Government), and other documents, photographs, or certificates related to handicrafts or weaving. These documents should be submitted through the General Manager of the concerned District Industries Centre. *Selection Process:* • A committee constituted under the chairmanship of the General Manager, District Industries Centre, will select eligible women workers at the district level as per the prescribed criteria. The list of selected beneficiaries along with the necessary details will be forwarded to the Directorate of Industries for approval. After approval, 90% of the sanctioned amount will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of the selected women workers. <br>
Women workers whose ancestral occupation is weaving, spinning, or knitting, and those who have experience in handloom activities but lack the required loom or equipment, are eligible. <br>
Yes. Women workers registered with the Government of India or the State Government are given priority during selection. <br>
The scheme provides financial support for the purchase of handloom, pantloom, frameloom, and other related equipment necessary for weaving and spinning work. <br>
The maximum total assistance available under the scheme is ₹25,000/- per beneficiary. <br>
Under the scheme, 90% of the total cost (up to ₹25,000) is borne by the department, while the remaining 10% is contributed by the beneficiary herself. <br>

Completed application forms along with all required documents should be submitted to the General Manager, District Industries Centre (DIC) of the concerned district. <br>
A district-level committee, chaired by the General Manager of the District Industries Centre, will scrutinize and select eligible women workers based on prescribed criteria. <br>
