  • Preference will be given to women workers who have experience in the handloom sector but are unable to carry out weaving work due to the unavailability of a loom.
  • The woman worker must be registered with the Government of India or Government of Uttarakhand.

How to Apply

  1. Step 1: Online application

    • Application forms can be obtained from the General Manager, District Industries Centre, or downloaded from the departmental website at https://doi.uk.org. - Along with the application form, applicants must submit a copy of their Aadhaar card, bank account details, relevant registration certificate (if registered with the Government of India or the State Government), and other documents, photographs, or certificates related to handicrafts or weaving. These documents should be submitted through the General Manager of the concerned District Industries Centre. *Selection Process:* • A committee constituted under the chairmanship of the General Manager, District Industries Centre, will select eligible women workers at the district level as per the prescribed criteria. The list of selected beneficiaries along with the necessary details will be forwarded to the Directorate of Industries for approval. After approval, 90% of the sanctioned amount will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of the selected women workers. <br>
