चमड़ा प्रशिक्षण योजना वर्ष 1990 में राजस्थान सरकार के उद्योग विभाग द्वारा चमड़ा उद्योग को बढ़ावा देने, चमड़ा उत्पादों के उत्पादन और गुणवत्ता में सुधार, नए डिजाइन विकसित करने और स्व-रोजगार पैदा करने के उद्देश्य से शुरू की गई थी। इस योजना के तहत जिला उद्योग केंद्रों के माध्यम से चमड़े की रंगाई, नगर जूती, चमड़े के सामान और चमड़े के खिलौनों के लिए नवीनतम तकनीकों का प्रशिक्षण दिया जाता है। प्रशिक्षण की अवधि 2 महीने है। प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम के तहत, 15 प्रशिक्षुओं के एक समूह को चमड़े की रंगाई और नागरा जूती बनाने के लिए नामित किया गया है, जबकि 20 प्रशिक्षुओं के एक समूह को चमड़े के सामान और चमड़े के खिलौने बनाने के लिए नामित किया गया है।
कौशल विकास प्रशिक्षण * *-नगर जूती में आधुनिक तकनीकी प्रशिक्षण (प्रति बैच 15 प्रशिक्षु).-चमड़ा प्रशिक्षण (प्रति बैच 20 प्रशिक्षु). * * वजीफा * *-प्रत्येक प्रशिक्षु को प्रशिक्षण अवधि के दौरान प्रति माह 500 रुपये मिलते हैं। * * उपकरण किट * *-प्रशिक्षण के सफलतापूर्वक पूरा होने के बाद प्रत्येक प्रशिक्षु को 1,000 रुपये तक के उपकरण किट प्रदान किए जाते हैं। * * प्रशिक्षण अवधि * *-दो महीने।
