खेल के मैदान का विकास योजना सरकार द्वारा मुख्यमंत्री समग्र ग्रामीण उन्नयन योजना (सी. एम. एस. जी. यू. वाई.) की अम्ब्रेला योजना के तहत एक घटक है। असम से। सीएमएसजीयूवाई का शुभारंभ माननीय मुख्यमंत्री सर्बानंद सोनोवाल ने 5 फरवरी 2017 को गुवाहाटी में किया था। यह योजना पूरे असम में मेगा-मिशन मोड में लागू की जा रही है। सी. एम. एस. जी. यू. वाई. को प्रत्यक्ष आर्थिक गतिविधियों में केंद्रित हस्तक्षेप, बाजार संपर्क सहित रसद सहायता और सामुदायिक समर्थन के माध्यम से प्रत्येक राजस्व गांव को शामिल करके एक संतृप्ति मॉडल के माध्यम से लागू किया जाएगा। खेल के मैदान का विकास योजना मुख्यमंत्री समग्र ग्रामीण उन्नयन योजना (सी. एम. एस. जी. यू. वाई.) के तहत गठित असम युवा विकास मिशन सोसायटी (ए. वाई. डी. एम. एस.) द्वारा एक अवसंरचना विकास योजना है। ए. वाई. डी. एम. एस. ने राज्य सरकार के खेल और युवा कल्याण विभाग के माध्यम से राज्य में खेलों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए एक खेल का मैदान विकसित करने का निर्णय लिया है। असम से। योजना के संचालन के पहले चरण में 2017-18 के दौरान 500 फुटबॉल खेल के मैदान विकसित करने का निर्णय लिया गया है। एक फुटबॉल का खेल का मैदान और वॉलीबॉल कोर्ट जैसी सुविधाओं को विकसित करने का प्रस्ताव किया गया है जिसमें एक ड्रेसिंग रूम, स्टोर-सह-कार्यालय और शौचालय की सुविधा होगी। खेल के मैदान की सुरक्षा के लिए एक चारदीवारी भी बनाई जाएगी।
Facilities Proposed to be Created:
Improvement of the existing playfield with earth-filling, leveling with approved soil or as per requirement.
Turfing with local suitable grass.
Dressing room for boys, girls, and officials with electricity and provision for adequate running water in the toilet.
Fixing of Football Goal Post of standard size (one pair) 24 feet x 8 feet made of GI Pipe of 4” to 5” in diameter with white paint.

The playing facilities for Volleyball can also be developed where spaces are available.

Length: Minimum 90 metres / Maximum 120 metres; Width: Minimum 45 metres / Maximum 90 metres
International:
Length: Minimum 100 metres / Maximum 110 metres; Width: Minimum 64 metres / Maximum 75 metres
The minimum available playing area of the existing field should be: Length: 90 metres; Width: 45 metres
The size of the Goal Post is 24 ft x 8 ft and made of 5-inch diameter steel tubular pipe with white paint.
Volleyball Court:
The size of the Volleyball ground is 18 metres x 9 metres
The height of the Volley Post is 2.43 metres for men and 2.24 metres for women made of 5-inch diameter steel tubular pipe with white paint and adjustable height for men & women both.
The earth filling should be done with sandy and loamy soil.
The compaction of the playfield should be made with a light roller not exceeding 2 tons.
