The scheme “High Altitude Guide Course” is implemented by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board under the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttarakhand. Step 1: Offline application
• Applicants must complete the prescribed application form and submit it along with the required documents to the office of the District Tourism Development Officer. • Upon completion of the tests, the District Tourism Development Officer will forward the list of shortlisted candidates to the headquarters. • Final selection of participants will be made by a committee constituted at the headquarters. <br>
Youth from Uttarakhand who have already completed a Low Altitude Guide Course from a recognized institution are eligible to apply. <br>
Currently, 41 beneficiaries have been selected for the High Altitude Guide Course. <br>
The prescribed application form along with necessary documents must be submitted to the office of the District Tourism Development Officer. <br>
Participants are selected by a committee constituted at the headquarters based on the applications and evaluation tests. <br>
The District Tourism Development Officer submits the list of selected applicants to the headquarters after the evaluation tests. <br>
