Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand.
  • The applicant must be a man or woman belonging to a minority community (Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Parsi, Buddhist, or Jain).
  • The age of the applicant should be between 18 and 45 years.
  • The applicant must have completed education either from a Government school or from a Madrasa.
  • For traditional training courses such as sewing, embroidery, plumbing, electronics, knitting, etc., the applicant must be at least Class 5 pass or literate.
  • For Information Technology courses (Computer Hardware, Software, Networking, Accounting, etc.), the applicant must have passed at least High School.
  • The annual family income should not exceed ₹3,50,000/- in rural areas and ₹4,50,000/- in urban areas.

How to Apply

  1. Step 1: Offline application

    • Under this scheme, training is provided through voluntary organizations. The Minority Welfare Department publishes advertisements inviting applications for training, after which interested candidates can obtain the application form from the Minority Welfare Office. • The completed application form must be submitted to the office along with Aadhaar card, permanent residence certificate, minority certificate, income certificate, and educational qualification certificate. Applicants are then called for an interview by the selection committee constituted at the district level under the chairmanship of the District Minority Welfare Officer or the District Social Welfare Officer, who also serves as the ex-officio District Manager. • At the time of the interview, candidates are required to present the original copies of all their documents for verification. After selection, the training is provided by the designated institute. • Training programs are organized every year, and applicants may also submit their forms to the Minority Welfare Office in advance, even before the advertisement, so that their applications can be considered when the training sessions commence. <br>
